Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Reconcile invoices with contracts and purchase orders.
- Maintain an organized filing system for physical and digital documents.
- Scan and digitize receipts and financial records.
- Coordinate office supplies and equipment, ensuring all resources are stocked and functional.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, managing office calendars and events.
- Input financial data into accounting software and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Serve as the point of contact for financial inquiries from staff and vendors.
- Collaborate with management to improve office procedures and workflows.
- Identify areas for efficiency within accounting and office operations.
- Propose and implement new systems to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, providing regular status updates.
Skills
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes, with the ability to manage daily accounting operations.
- Experience with accounting software and tools, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively serve as a point of contact for financial inquiries.
- Analytical skills to identify inefficiencies in operations and propose effective systems for streamlining processes.
- Ability to assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, including tracking timelines and budgets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
