We have a current opportunity for a deaf/blind intervener to work with an early childhood student for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year in Rosemount, MN. We are open to considering a part time schedule 3 hours/day (mornings) or a full time schedule.

Duties
- Provide one-on-one support to students who are deaf and blind in various educational settings.
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Facilitate communication between the student and peers, educators, and staff using appropriate methods such as tactile signing or other communication systems.
- Support literacy education by helping students engage with reading materials and develop writing skills.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and learning experiences.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt instructional materials for accessibility.
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with parents and educational staff regarding the student's development.
