Job Overview

We are in search of a committed and highly proficient Virtual Educational Interpreter to provide support to a 10th-grade student in a remote educational setting. This part-time position presents a flexible schedule, enabling you to contribute significantly to the student’s academic journey while working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver real-time virtual interpretation for a 10th-grade student, effectively translating classroom lessons, discussions, and activities.
• Facilitate communication between the instructor and the student, ensuring clarity and accuracy in understanding on both ends.
• Cultivate a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates the student throughout their lessons.
• Collaborate closely with the student's teachers and school staff to ensure seamless communication and integration of learning.
• Uphold professionalism by fostering a confidential and respectful relationship with the student and educational personnel.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong interpretation abilities to ensure clear and accurate communication in a virtual context.
• Excellent verbal communication skills coupled with a dependable approach to scheduled sessions.
• Familiarity with virtual learning platforms is advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications

• A valid 4.0 Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) or National Interpreter Certification (NIC/RIC) is mandatory.
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in educational environments is preferred.
