Birch Glen Lodge a 28-room hotel in Cascade, ID located right next to Kelly's Whitewater Park, Birch Glen Lodge is snuggled in the picturesque mountains north of Boise. We offer a rare blend of privacy, relaxation, and entertainment. Established in 1968, our scenic property has hosted visitors for camping, fishing, hiking and endless outdoor events.

Since 2015, Elevate has acquired, partnered, and/or consulted on 1,393 workforce housing multifamily units, 1471 mobile home park lots, 2 hotels, 113,000 square feet of commercial space.

The Role
At The Birch Glen Lodge, we are in search of our newest housekeeper to join our lodge team. Our housekeeping team is responsible for cleaning the guest rooms and providing daily cleaning while the guest rooms are occupied. Washing, drying, and folding laundry, and reporting maintenance issues to the office are just a few of the job responsibilities of our housekeeping team members. Someone who enjoys cleaning, takes pride in their work, and wants to be a part of a close and driven team is preferred.
As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in helping ensure our guests have a safe, clean, and pleasant experience. This involves interacting with current and potential guests along with hotel managers and vendors. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organization, timeliness, and an understanding of hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:
- Sweep, scrub, mop floors, and spot clean carpets as needed
- Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies
- Dust and polish furniture, tables, chairs, blinds and fittings
- Wipe down glass surfaces
- Check and clean all cabinets and drawers
- Replace dirty linens with clean items
- Make-up beds and change linens as required
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- Clean stove top, sink, refrigerator, microwave, cabinets and counters
- Wash windows
- Empty and clean trash containers
- Restock room supplies such as drinking cups, soaps & shampoos
- Tidy up rooms
- Wash, dry, sort, and fold laundry
- Keep the lodge and game room clean
- Interact with guests while onsite (current and potential)
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Housekeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
- Hospitality: 2 year (Preferred)
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, bend, and stoop
- Ability to lift, push, and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
