Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experience Hotel General Manager to open the brand new GrandStay Hotel & Suites, of Kaukauna, WI as well as oversee the daily operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service within the hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and guest services.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance guest relations and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the hotel to ensure profitability.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment and promote professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Manage hotel reservations systems and phone systems to optimize guest experience.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and increase occupancy rates.
- Handle guest complaints and inquiries in a professional manner to maintain high levels of service quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills to motivate staff effectively.
- Knowledge of front desk operations and guest relations best practices.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with phone systems and reservation software is preferred.
