Birchwood Farms Golf and Country Club is currenting looking for Banquet Servers for our extremely busy Summer 2025 Event Season. Our Servers have high earning opportunities. On average $300 a shift or event worked in season. (Mid May-Mid September)

Salary: $6.00 /hr plus outstanding lucrative tips

Summary
Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club hosts events daily, including club events, private events, weddings and more! A Banquet Server at Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club will help prepare and execute all banquet activities with a goal of ensuring satisfaction from guests and membership. This position would work with the Director of Catering and Banquet Captain to execute the service of all events.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally serve member and guest food and beverage orders ensuring quality and accuracy
- Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Check identification of members and guests in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol; Dispense alcohol consistent with State regulations.
- Attempt to limit problems and liability related to members and guests excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to members and guests to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
- Responsible for keeping rooms set to standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area
- Maintain excellent communication with management regarding customer satisfaction, feedback and food counts
- Responsible for sending correct ticket orders to the kitchen
- Ensure all billing is conducted correctly (member names and numbers)
- Keep menus organized and presentable
- Perform all opening and closing side work as required; Checklists
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Education Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience as a server preferred
- Bartending experience is an advantage

- Holidays (Guaranteed 4th of July off)
- Will have most Mondays off
