The theatre manager is responsible for the overall financial success of the Bird-in-Hand Stage. The theatre manager will work with marketing to increase sales and determine promotions, liaise with production companies, be responsible for the day-to-day Stage operations, manage the theatre staff and work on development for future seasons.
The Theatre Manager is a full-time position mid-March through December and part-time January through mid-March. Shows cover Tuesdays-Saturdays, with a flexible schedule to oversee both 1 pm and 7 pm showtimes. Bachelor's degree and theatre experience preferred. Must have excellent guest service skills and have the ability to speak in front of a group. The candidate should also be organized and detail oriented.
