Our Technology Team plays an integral role in ensuring our continued operations. This role reports to the Manager, Digital and IT Strategy and will lead and mentor the Digital and IT teams at Birdon. Some of your daily functions will include:
- Leading the provision of IT systems and services in accordance with Birdon’s standards, policies, operating procedures and agreed service levels.
- Leading the IT Operations team including the development, coaching and mentoring of team members (3).
- Leading the analysis, investigation, control and reporting of cyber-security threats, risks and incidents as the Technical Controls Officer for Birdon America Inc.
- Contributing to the diagnostics and resolution of incidents and issues via remote-support tools, telephone and on-site escalation of relevant incidents, requests and problems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders to integrate solutions across various departments, including production, supply chain, finance, human resources and engineering.
- Collaborating with the Manager Digital and IT Strategy and the Manager of Digital and ICT Australia to adopt a consistent standard and seek to harmonize operating platforms for Birdon globally.
- Supporting digital transformation projects to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Fostering relationship with IT vendors and partners to keep relevant with current technology industry trends, issues, and risks.
- Using and maintaining data-driven analytics to drive decision making and enhance user quality, reduce downtime and improve overall efficiency.
If you have 10 years’ experience in Information Technology roles, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in both IT and Cyber Security, a bachelor’s in information systems, computer science (or related/relevant field) we want to talk to you!
