HVAC Service Technician

Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate! Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking an HVAC Service Technician for apartment buildings in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

Pay and Benefits

• $24-30/hour, commensurate with experience


• Weekly pay


• Full-time, Monday-Friday approximately 8am-4pm.


• On call is not required but is available for overtime

• Complete work orders as a dispatched technician to troubleshoot/repair/install residential and commercial HVAC and ventilation systems


• Repair/replace/calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring related to HVAC systems


• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems


• Take care of company vehicle and equipment


• Collaborate on HVAC aspects of construction projects


• Provide on-the-job training for maintenance staff


• Other projects as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in HVAC


• Able to complete repairs independently


• Skilled in a secondary trade preferred


• Eligible to work in the United States 


• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR


• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance


• Ability to travel frequently


• Safely utilize power tools


• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
