What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Assistant position at BIRK?
We are in need of a Inventory Assistant, who wants to grow with their new opportunity. Must haver Inventory Experience for consideration for this position. Great team environment in a well organized organization.
Ø Pack / ship parts, Use Sage to look up parts, generate sales orders, and quote pricing/availability of stock parts
o Pull parts from inventory / package parts for shipment. Use FedEx.com and UPS.com to print shipping labels
o Customize packaging for fragile or heavy-duty items. Put together skids & arrange freight for larger shipments. Lift heavy packages (up to 100lbs)
Ø Receive new stock (compare parts to packing lists; label parts; put on shelf; receive into Sage)
Ø Send order confirmations to customers with estimated shipping dates. Request order updates from suppliers, and pass on updates to customers.
Ø Maintain parts shelves and warehouse. Keep stores & warehouse organized and clean
Ø Secondary
o Assist with taking customer calls / e-mails. Generate & track RMAs (return material authorization)
§ Re-stock unused returns as they come in
Operate Forklift which is a (Crown sit down)
Hour are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and includes Full Benefit package including 401k. Salary review after 3 months!
