We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment to ensure our operations run smoothly and our customers are satisfied.
About the Role
This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in mechanical repairs. You will work independently to inspect and troubleshoot equipment, repair engines, hydraulics, air conditioning, and electrical systems, as well as perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with heavy equipment using the latest diagnostic tools.
- Repair engines, hydraulics, air conditioning, and electrical systems to keep machinery running smoothly.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Work closely with your team and keep the service manager updated on repairs.
- Continuously learn and adapt to the latest technologies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with mechanical repairs (no degree required).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Welding skills (a plus, but not required).
