What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at BIRMINGHAM PEDIATRIC ASSOCIATES INC?
We are looking for a
full-time Medical Assistant to perform various office and clinical duties
to keep our healthcare practice running efficiently. Our Medical Assistants
will work directly with healthcare practice staff to maintain patient records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Triage patients efficiently as per clinic standard operating protocols
- Record patient information such as vital signs, weight
- Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
- Help in the front office as needed, taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility
- Assist in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed
Requirements for Interview:
- Monday - Friday 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM With a half day off each week
- 1 Weekend a month (8 am-12 pm on Saturday and 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM).
- Pediatric experience a plus
- High level of professionalism
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in using electronic medical record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to work in a team setting
