If you are passionate, energetic, mature, and motivational, then apply to join our Gymnastics Summer Camp program as a seasonal part-time instructor of kids ages 3-12!
Offering positions for up to 11 weeks between the end of May until mid-August, Birons welcomes over 1000 children each summer in a variety of camp programs. This is a part-time position seasonally, with additional job opportunities during spring break and winter holiday.
Both Gymnastics and Ninja camps are from 9AM-12PM Monday-Friday. You will lead a group of students through varying gymnastics stations & apparatuses.
****Anyone hired under the age of 18 will be classified as a Junior Camp Counselor and will not lead their own group of students by themselves****
Responsibilities include: leading a group of 8-10 campers, working with your fellow team to bring the magic of camp to life through our weekly themes and activities, and the daily set up and clean up and other assigned duties. You are expected to treat the position with the professionalism and enthusiasm that necessitates.
Do not think you are 'just' a counselor. You are a super hero come to life for the campers, and they are learning from your habits, words, and deeds. You will be building relationships, establishing trust, and guiding kids in their growth emotionally, physically, and socially. You will be holding yourself to the same high standards you hold your kids.
