The goal of this position is to provide efficient and effective marketing assistance and administrative support to the Marketing Department. This incumbent will have the responsibility to meet and greet potential residents; as well as, the general public in a professional and service-oriented manner. Provides essential customer service support for potential and incoming residents and contract/financial information as needed. Acts as a liaison between incoming residents and other BG departments to ensure coordinated move in.

A Typical Day
- Answer the telephone, take and relay messages, begin qualifying of potential residents, meet and greet the customers and visitors of the marketing department and of Bishop Gadsden in general.
- Assist in preparation and updating of department correspondence.
- Assist and attend marketing functions.
- Assist in managing inquiry responses.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly marketing reports.
- Maintain competency in the hardware and software programs in use by the Marketing Office.
- Process purchase orders for department and prepare A/P forms.
- Provide assistance and information to incoming residents.
What We Need In A Candidate:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative function preferably in Sales or Marketing.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with computer systems, preferably Microsoft Office and Docuware.
- General knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
- Possesses good judgment in working with residents and fellow staff.
- Interpersonal skills for exchanging information and maintaining a courteous relationship with the residents, families, visitors and Bishop Gadsden employees.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and/or carry weights of up to 50 pounds.
