Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit and Collections Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the credit and collections operations, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, building out and managing a team, and managing credit risk. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and manage credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and maximize collections.
· Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
· Conduct credit assessments and establish credit limits for new and existing customers.
· Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to resolve payment issues and disputes.
· Prepare and analyze reports on credit and collections performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
· Build out, manage, train and mentor credit and collections staff in best practices.
· Maintain accurate records of all credit and collection activities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus
· Proven experience in B2B credit and collections management
· Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and management
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
· Professional certification in credit management (e.g., CCE, CICP) a plus
· Experience with ERP systems and credit management software.
