Director of Care Services

Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is committed to delivering high-quality care to our residents. As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in achieving this goal.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of healthcare operations, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulations
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve care quality and resident satisfaction
3. Conduct regular wound/skin rounds and coordinate nursing services
4. Participate in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff
5. Maintain infection control protocols and adapt to changing work schedules

Requirements:

• New York RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings
• Preferred: 2 years of management experience and 1 year of staff education experience
• Excellent communication skills and basic leadership abilities
• Flexibility with work schedule
