This position assists in the repair and maintenance of event center buildings and facilities.• Assists with event set-up; constructs and removes sets; reconfigures event spaces.
• Operates a variety of hand and power tools.
• Inspects center buildings and facilities for repair and maintenance needs.
• Assists in the provision of lighting for events.
• Locks and unlocks doors.
• Coordinates part-time crews for event preparation.
• Assists in repairing and maintaining plumbing systems.
• Makes carpentry repairs.
• Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies.
• Performs minor electrical repairs.
• Performs painting and drywall repair.
• Maintains and repairs sprinkler systems.
• Performs related duties.• Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of North Dakota for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.• Knowledge of stage construction principles and practices.
• Knowledge of event rigging and lighting principles.
• Knowledge of the standard practices, methods, materials, and tools of general building maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical system maintenance and repair principles.

Salary : $50,299 - $56,586
