Job Description
This position assists in the repair and maintenance of event center buildings and facilities.
Examples of Duties
- Assists with event set-up; constructs and removes sets; reconfigures event spaces.
- Operates a variety of hand and power tools.
- Inspects center buildings and facilities for repair and maintenance needs.
- Assists in the provision of lighting for events.
- Locks and unlocks doors.
- Coordinates part-time crews for event preparation.
- Assists in repairing and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Makes carpentry repairs.
- Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment.
- Responds to after-hours emergencies.
- Performs minor electrical repairs.
- Performs painting and drywall repair.
- Maintains and repairs sprinkler systems.
- Performs related duties.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
- No experience required.
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of North Dakota for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
