Summary of Responsibilities
The Maintenance Department is looking for a student to work as a building maintenance worker. This position is open for both summer and fall. This individual would perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and repair work or would assist skilled workers in the performance of more difficult maintenance and repair work.
Position Description & Details
- Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Change Air Filters on HVAC equipment.
- Clean coils and screens on HVAC equipment.
- General cleaning in mechanical rooms.
- Paint floors and walls in mechanical rooms.
Minimum Requirements
- Available to both Work-Study and Non-Work-Study BSC students.
- Good working knowledge of methods, practices, tools and materials used in general maintenance and repair work.
- Must observe established safety practices and procedures.
- Able to use a step ladder
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
