The Mow Crew Member position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure mowed lawns are visually appealing and neat. This position may operate a variety of hand and power tools, clean and prepare sites, trim natural environments, dig trenches, clean up debris, and remove waste materials.
Essential Job Functions
· Follow written and verbal instructions from crew leader and clients.
· Mow lawns using various machinery including mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
· Edge lawns and landscape beds and trim around obstacles.
· Assist Maintenance and Install Crews when needed.
· Perform maintenance on equipment as needed.
· Load and unload equipment and trucks to and from worksites.
· Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure that proper incident reporting procedures are followed.
· Maintain a clean job site, picking up all tools and equipment and securing the job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
· Support projects as assigned.
· Attend meetings and functions.
· Model all Company policies and procedures.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Comfortable communicating with crew members and customers in English.
· Basic knowledge of plants, tools, and equipment used, preferred.
