What it takes to be successful in this role:
The ideal candidate should have 3 years of experience as a compressor station operator, with a preference for DJ Basin experience. Leadership skills and a strong understanding of oil and gas operations are essential. The ability to operate and troubleshoot TEG dehydration equipment is a key requirement. Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a self-starter mentality are crucial for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
· Performs daily operational checks of assigned compressors stations, pipelines, and production facilities.
· Measures and records production accurately.
· Prepares, maintains, and submits daily reports of oil, gas, and water production.
· Identifies and communicates changes in individual equipment performance.
· Performs minor equipment repairs or communicates the need for corrective maintenance if unable to complete.
· Proactively schedule all preventive maintenance to meet manufacturer and operating requirements
· Witnesses purchasers, gauges, and tests, ensuring accuracy
· Ensures lease site upkeep (fences, signs, weeds, trash, etc.).
· Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience (required):
· High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
· 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, 5 years of experience preferred
· of experience in the oil and gas industry
· Experience working as a compressor station, pipeline, or gas plant operator, with a proven track record of success
· Experience with pipeline maintenance processes and procedures
· Experience with asset data management/work order management systems
· Knowledge of applicable State and Federal Regulations pertaining to the Transportation of Natural Gas by Pipeline
· Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization
· Demonstrated ability to organize and interpret data, and to solve problems
· Solid understanding of instrumentation and control systems
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
· The individual must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, life vest, respirators, earplugs, steel-toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done
· Walking, stepping, climbing, or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, and normally involves physically getting into and out of equipment through the use of vertically mounted ladders up to and including 10 or more ft in height
· Visually seeing driving operations well (either naturally or with corrective lenses)
· Standing, stooping kneeling, squatting, climbing, and sitting
· Repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands and back in performance of work
· Working at elevated heights and lifting and carrying 50 lb. or more objects occasionally
· Adapting to outdoor conditions and prolonged exposure to sometimes adverse weather conditions Remaining calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident
· Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather conditions
Other Requirements:
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

· Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle report, and good driving habits

Compensation:
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $36.00 - $43.00 hourly in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.

Location:
This position is located Briggsdale, CO. This position isn’t available for remote work. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, no relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a field environment. This entails working outside in variable weather conditions. Employee could be exposed to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations or dust.
Physical Demands:
In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position.
Position Type and Working Hours:
This is a full-time position. This position will require working nights and weekends occasionally as dictated by the operational needs of the field. Typical work hours are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Employees must be capable and willing to work overtime as required. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours.
Schedule:
This position requires a 12-hour shift, ensuring continuous coverage and operational efficiency. The current schedule is eight (8) days on with six (6) days off (subject to change). As part of the work schedule, you will be expected to work weekends and holidays, contributing to our mission during these special occasions. Night shifts and overnight shifts are essential to maintain round-the-clock operations and optimize production. Overtime may be required.
Travel:
Routine, even daily, travel to remote locations will be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, or visits to other company office locations.
