We are seeking a skilled labor hand to join our team. This position will be responsible for operating machinery to grind, sand, clean, or polish metal components according to specifications.
Duties:
- Set up and operate machines and/or manually grind metal workpieces
- Read and interpret engineering drawings/documents to determine grinding requirements
- Inspect workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Use hand tools and manual or automated machinery for grinding and surface preparation
- Handle materials for grinding processes with care and precision
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools for grinding and surface preparation
- Familiarity with forklift operation for material handling
- Aptitude in basic math for measurements and calculations
