BISSELL is proactively looking for Chemical Engineering Intern to join the Chemical Packaging Manufacturing team. This Manufacturing based role will serve as a vital team member within the broader Supply Chain organization. This individual will participate in a variety of projects and will also be involved in a summer long capstone project related to their function.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to process improvements for the large scale Liquid batch environment, including cleaning, product flush and batch time of mix tanks. Improve Liquid raw material processing and transferring product to a filling operation.
- Oversee capital projects to support liquid processing improvements.
- Data collection of various product parameters to drive decision making and quality specifications.
- Complete a scrap analysis and reduction in mix time, with emphasis on the transfer and hold process of a finished 3,000 gallon batch of product.
- Demonstrate a strong interest and aptitude for learning about Consumables product development and liquid fill operations.
- Collaborate with BISSELL team members from other internal cross-functional departments such as Marketing, Quality, Consumables Development, and more.
- Participate in company-wide Internship activities as requested.

Qualifications
- Applicants MUST be currently enrolled at an accredited, four-year university majoring in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule throughout the duration of the summer internship program
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
