Qualifications
The Associate Financial Analyst reports directly to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and partners closely with members of the sales & marketing team to provide detailed analysis, insights, and reporting. This position also frequently interacts and partners with other members of the FP&A team.
Responsibilities
- Prepares analysis with limited direction from manager and external customers
- Assists in evaluating new product/venture financial viability
- Provides explanation and input regarding results
- Determine calculations and update templates for business planning activities
- Support management reporting and accounting activities, including data validation, report creation
- Researches issues and problems as assigned
- Pro-actively identifies and communicates problems and solutions
- Actively employs problem solving techniques and evaluates possible solutions before seeking direction from manager.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills Required:
- Advanced Excel skills, including (but not limited to):
- Can manipulate large datasets using advanced functions like SUMPRODUCT, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP to find and process specific data points
- Is comfortable using PivotTables for data summarization and creating dynamic reports that can be easily refreshed
- Can transform raw data into actionable insights and streamline workflows
- Can build and quickly update financial models
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning systems is a plus

- Degree minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
- Specific concentration: Finance / Accounting
