Overview:
The Associate Manager, Supply Chain will play an integral role in overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain processes. The role will focus on responsibilities from system and inventory management, to logistics, and timely delivery of products to Walmart U.S. This individual will act as a key liaison between internal teams, Walmart contacts, and third-party logistics providers to ensure a seamless flow of goods and information, driving high service levels and operational excellence. Success requires a strong communicator with analytical skills and a collaborative mindset to ensure the smooth flow of goods, while minimizing supply chain disruptions, to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Demand Planning & Forecasting:
- Collaborate with Walmart’s replenishment team to develop accurate demand forecasts and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.
- Monitor sales trends, seasonality, new product introductions, and promotional impacts to adjust system setting forecasts accordingly.

Inventory Management:
- Partner with Supply Planning team to ensure optimal inventory levels across distribution centers to meet Walmart’s requirements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels and replenishment orders to minimize out-of-stock or excess inventory situations.
- Collaborate with the internal logistics team to help develop solutions to optimize transportation routes and reduce shipping costs to Walmart.

Order Fulfillment:
- Work with Walmart’s Replenishment Manager, to help facilitate their ordering and fulfillment process, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to Walmart U.S.
- Partner with internal team and their third-party logistics providers as needed to assist with the Walmart side of managing shipping schedules and resolving and delivery issues.

Walmart Compliance:
- Collaborate to help maintain adherence to Walmart’s supply chain and vendor compliance requirements (e.g., OTIF, SQEP).
- Collaborate to ensure compliance with Walmart's supplier requirements, including packaging, labeling, and shipment documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Walmart to ensure all shipments are compliant with Walmart’s vendor requirements and industry regulations to avoid chargebacks.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Build strong relationships with Walmart’s replenishment managers, logistics teams, and internal sales teams.
- Communicate supply chain performance metrics, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including sales, production, logistics, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and achieve organizational objectives.
- Communicate effectively with Walmart's procurement and logistics teams to resolve any issues related to orders, shipments, or inventory discrepancies.

Performance Metrics & Process Improvement:
- Track and analyze, with the collaboration of the internal Order Management team, Walmart KPIs such as on-time delivery, fill rate, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, weeks of supply, in-stock %, zero on-hands, zero sales reporting, shipment analysis, etc to help drive shelf sell through and incremental sales orders.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives, with Walmart, to meet or exceed Walmart’s performance targets.
- Continuously evaluate Walmart supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Develop and implement strategies for Walmart to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.
- In collaboration with internal teams utilize data analysis tools and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and address any performance gaps with Walmart’s Supply Chain team.
- Coordinate and manage quarterly supply chain business reviews with Walmart replenishment executives to collaborate on buy-plan system settings and order alignment.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Degree minimum: Bachelor’s degree
- Specific concentration: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience level: 3 years in a supply chain environment
