Classic French Restaurant, in Yountville, seeks Sous Chef, with French cuisine experience, in a fine dining establishment.
Ideal candidates must have superior culinary skills, a refined palate & a high standard of excellence. Applicants should be highly motivated, self-starters with excellent communication skills. Spanish language fluency is a plus.
The Sous Chef must be able to develop team members, work cleanly, efficiently, and with the utmost respect for quality ingredients, while maintaining careful attention to detail. Partial job duties will be ordering and inventory control of all food products, maintaining food production quality within existing standards and establishing new standards as needed, training new & seasoned employees in proper culinary techniques, and developing a loyal, qualified BOH staff by creating a safe and rewarding environment.
