Overview
The Food Service Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the daily operations of our food service department. This position requires a dynamic individual who can oversee food preparation, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and manage kitchen staff effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality food service experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize food costs while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate food preparation and presentation for events and daily service.
• Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new kitchen staff as needed.
• Collaborate with management to develop menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Provide bartending services when required, ensuring responsible alcohol service.

Experience
Candidates should have a background in food service with experience in the following areas:

• Bartending and bar management skills are preferred.
• Food handling knowledge is essential to ensure safety standards are met.
• Proven experience in kitchen management or as an assistant manager is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes related to food service operations is advantageous.
• Experience in food preparation techniques to maintain high-quality standards is required.
