We are currently looking for a Global Talent Development Director to join our team

What you can expect in this role:

The Global Talent Development Director is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive talent development functions for Bitfarms globally. This is a hands-on foundational role aimed at building training and development programs and solutions that build and enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and overall organizational effectiveness. This role focuses on fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, driving performance improvement, and supporting strategic goals centered around innovation, growth and diversification.

We are growing company with a global footprint. Our HR team is small, but mighty and very hands-on. We are passionate about Bitfarms and the support we provide to our teams. We’re looking to compliment our team with an experienced Talent Development professional, ready to roll their sleeves up and help us in our mission to provide robust and relevant development plans.

This role has one direct report, the Talent Acquisition Partner.

We need someone who can hit the ground running and who brings several years of experience developing and implementing leadership and technical skills development programs.

The incumbent will work in close collaboration with our global Director of Operational Excellence who is focused on operational-level skills development.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive programs for leadership and skills development across different levels of management working with internal teams and outsourced partners.
  • Manage the Company’s LMS (360Learning) to provide personalized, scalable, on demand, global learning solutions in the areas of compliance, leadership and technical skills.
  • Develop and implement “train the trainer” programs across the organization to enhance skills development.
  • Design effective curriculums for all training programs.
  • Manage the talent development budget.
  • Build upon the two-tiered performance management and goal-setting programs.
  • Develop a succession planning process, including evaluation method (9 box or other) and relevant development plans.
  • In collaboration with our Comms/Marketing team, manage internal communications programs, including announcements, program launches and quarterly townhalls.
  • Develop an innovative and inclusive employee recognition program.
  • Manage employer ranking processes (Great Place to Work and other).
  • Establish talent development analytics and measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of talent development initiatives and to continuously improve offerings.
  • Manage the talent acquisition strategy, applicant tracking system deployment.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives related to talent development, ensuring successful adoption and integration of new programs and practices.

Here's the profile we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, communications, education or other related field.
  • 10 years’ experience HR, at least 5 years in talent development and curriculum development.
  • 3 years’ experience in leadership role.
  • Excellent communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Able to analyze, organize, summarize and articulate complex information.
  • Fluent in English. French and/or Spanish considered an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Team-player, trustworthy.
  • Understand strategy, the Company goals, and importance of execution.
