Job Summary
We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in our Topeka, KS office. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative, client-focused environment with room for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate financial statements for multiple clients, including:
- Bank reconciliations
- Account analysis
- Depreciation
- Accounts payable
- Sales tax reporting
- Assist clients in making adjustments to internally prepared financial statements.
- Process payroll and assist with payroll-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting and payroll experience preferred.
- Experience with financial preparation, reconciliations, and compilations.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Accounting CS software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and client-service mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
