Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter/Designer to create fabrication and structural steel drawings at our Sandy, OR facility. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing fabrication company serving diverse industrial sectors.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with AutoCAD LT and Microsoft Office
- 1 year minimum SOLIDWORKS experience preferred
- Excellent organization, communication, and math skills
- Ability to produce accurate, detailed, and scale drawings for shop fabrication
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with steel fabrication processes and industrial applications of fabricated equipment (a plus)
- Steel fabrication and/or steel design experience (a plus)
- Knowledge of steel materials and shapes (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed mechanical designs and schematics.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop system designs and drafting specifications.
- Ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards in all designs.
- Conduct technical writing for documentation and project reports.
- Organize and maintain project files using Microsoft Office and CAD software.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

Pay: $60,042.00 - $74,043.00 per year
