Job description
Our Chief Estimator will experience a challenging and growth-focused work environment.
Duties:
- Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of estimators
- Assist divisions in assessing bid opportunities
- Innovative and creative approach to building projects
- Risk analysis
- Coordinate estimate development with the project team
- Conduct bid review and ensure estimate productivity and accuracy goals are met
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site tours as needed
- Coordinate Quantity Take-Offs
- Prepare and submit estimates in compliance with contract documents
- Complete understanding of the plans, specs and scope of work
- Maintain HCSS Heavy Bid and Heavy Job Systems
- Mentor and Supervise Project Estimators with:
- RFP’s to subs and vendors
- Subcontractor and Vendor quotes review
- Prepare and attend project hand-off meeting
- Participate in CMAR, JOC, Design-Build Proposals/Projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
