Job Description;
The ideal candidate will have AutoCAD Civil 3D experience and a thorough understanding of surveying principles, ALTA/NSPS standards, boundary surveys, topographic mapping, and construction staking.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Process and analyze survey data for land development projects
✔Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and mapping
✔Work with Trimble Business Center (TBC), MicroStation, and 3D modeling software (preferred)
✔Assist in boundary surveys, topographic mapping, ALTA surveys, and construction staking
✔Apply GIS and geospatial tools such as ArcGIS or Global Mapper
✔Ensure compliance with Florida survey laws (Chapter 177), platting standards, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in land surveying and mapping
AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required (4 years)
Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred
Familiarity with MicroStation, Terrasolid for Spatix, or other 3D modeling software (a plus)
Knowledge of ALTA/NSPS Standards, Florida Statutes (Chapter 177), and construction staking
FAA Part 107 license preferred (for drone operations)
Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, Global Mapper, or similar)
High School Diploma required
