Job Overview
We are seeking an Estimator for our Commercial Landscape Construction Department. We are seeking a candidate that is very detailed oriented. This position provides the ability to work remotely.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Solicit, Track and Download Project Documents.
- Review specifications and drawings and conduct take-offs.
- Prepare Estimates and send Proposals / Bid Forms and Value Engineering.
- Tracking bids sent and conducting follow ups.
- receiving quotes from vendors for materials and material ordering.
- Track estimated hours, material and labor vs. actual.
- Contract negotiation, procurement processes.
- Submittals, Closeouts, RFI’s, CHRO documents, etc
- Pricing and Tracking Change Orders.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Work closely with project manager for job progress, material tracking/ordering.
- Assisting with other documentation requests as need be.
- Creating and keeping up with project updates, addendum, changes, etc.
- Must be very detail oriented
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Salesmanship and customer service
- Good math skills, writing skills, communication skills
- Comprehension of landscape drawings and execution
- Computer skills Windows xp pro, Microsoft office, Excel, Bluebeam
- Clean appearance and habits, attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
