Technician_ Propane

Job Summary:
Operate a service truck with a crane to load/unload and deliver propane/fuel tanks to customers’ homes. Fill out work orders, manage schedules, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, replace, and repair propane tanks and appliances (e.g., regulators, meters, valves).
• Perform leak tests and maintenance to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Handle bulk propane, conduct inspections, and fill tanks.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly.
• Provide customer support, including safety information and technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure truck safety and mechanical condition, and help with loading/unloading.
• Complete necessary vehicle maintenance and document delivery details.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5-10 years of propane technician experience.
• Valid CDL (Class A or B), HAZMAT endorsement.
• DOT physical, drug test, and background check required.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Preferred: Previous propane, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical experience.
