As a Software Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in setting up our software developers for success. You will be responsible for effective work execution, meeting deadlines, and personnel management. Your expertise in leadership will be essential in creating a culture that drives our technology forward.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Develop and implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing procedures
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet required quality standards
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development projects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile development methodologies
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or in a similar leadership role
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in C#, API design, data structures, and Azure services
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and wear multiple hats
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
