Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be responsible for manufacturing processes within the plants, continuous improvement, facilities layouts, supporting quality initiatives, while maintaining and supporting the growth of the organization as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement methods, operation sequences, and processes for the production of Bitzer Associated Products.
- Act as a technical liaison between the Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Work on process improvements and new product launch.
- Root cause analysis investigations.

These key components include compressors, pressure vessels such as condensers and evaporators, compressor packages, and condensing units. Other products include waste heat-to-power equipment that converts excess heat to low-cost electricity.
Requirements:
- Understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- HVAC technical skills or knowledge a plus.
- Good mechanical intuition.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to function as a team player within a diverse group and the capacity to work independently under minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing engineering environment.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or additional 4 years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience with testing (Mechanical / Electrical) equipment if beneficial.
- Knowledge of Electrical control panels, high voltage testing, PLC programming and IPCs are a strong benefit.
- Statistical Analysis experience and training.
- OSHA Safety Training for Industrial equipment and operations.
- Weld Process experience in a production environment is strong benefit.
- Experience in commercial or industrial refrigerant equipment is a plus.
