Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including prospecting, cold calling, and networking to generate leads.
- Manage territory effectively, ensuring optimal coverage and follow-up with potential customers.
- Upsell products and services to existing clients while identifying new opportunities within accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account management in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure seamless communication and support for client needs.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, measure performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in outside or direct sales roles.
- Strong upselling skills with the ability to recognize opportunities for additional revenue generation.
- Excellent territory management skills to maximize coverage and efficiency in client interactions.
- Experience in retail sales is a plus, providing insight into customer behavior and preferences.
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
