Litigation Paralegal
Our client is a reputable law firm with offices in multiple locations across the tri-state area and Florida. The firm is currently seeking a full-time Commercial Litigation Paralegal with at least 5 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience in the discovery process, cite-checking/Sherardizing, and E-Filing in federal and state courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafts cover letters and other correspondence
- Organizes, manages, and updates client files/pleadings (electronic and paper copies)
- Indexes and summarizes documents and depositions
- Performs basic legal and factual research (including electronic and paper copies)
- Discovery and substantive motion support, as commensurate with skill set
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work with large document-intensive cases
- Proficient in Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm, with the flexibility to work overtime when needed.
Minimum 3 days a week in office, 2 days a week remotely.
