Electrical Control Engineer
Job Overview: The Electrical Controls Engineer designs, develops, and supports electrical control systems, PLC/HMI software, and servo programs for web processing machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and program electrical systems based on existing PID algorithms.
- Install, troubleshoot, and support PLC-based hardware and software.
- Inspect, install, and test machinery before shipment.
- Develop electrical panels and integrate components.
- Estimate costs, safety, and reliability factors.
- Create electrical schematics and BOMs for components.
- Support procurement and assembly of systems.
- Maintain and update technical documentation for new and existing equipment.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in electrical design, PLC/HMI logic, servo/AC/DC motors, and electrical power distribution.
- Proficient in Rockwell Allen Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk View Studio, Lenze Motion Control, and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Knowledge of UL, NEMA, and CE codes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel 10-15% domestically and internationally.
Salary : $95,000 - $100,000
