- Creating and commissioning industrial controls systems, PLC troubleshooting (mentoring our technicians and engineers).
- Conduct electrical studies pertaining to equipment control and provide actions in order to upgrade, improve current electrical controls of our equipment.
- Document current electrical systems for OEM equipment when required.
- Ladder logic schematics for equipment that does not have electrical documentation.
- Order required electrical components assisting our engineering and maintenance departments; helping to maintain equipment uptime.
- Must be able to analyze plant processes and help make improvements based on your electrical knowledge.
- Adhere to our quality and safety standards.
- Specify electrical devices including sensors, VFDs, and PLC components
- Knowledge of facilities electrical distribution, manufacturing process controls, PLC and Logic Systems
- Significant management and contractor interactions including design, costing, quoting, and executing electrical systems, control systems and automation upgrades.
- Coordination, support, and maintenance including installation of various electrical system projects.
- Provide engineering support for projects designed and built both internally and externally.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
