Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Technical Consultant with expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for a long-term contract position based in California. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of SAP technical experience with a strong background in SAP BTP, Cloud Integration, and modern SAP architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP BTP solutions, including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP Business Application Studio.
Develop and deploy SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, OData services, and CAP/RAP-based applications on BTP.
Work with SAP HANA, SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), and SAP API Management to enable seamless data exchange and business process automation.
Provide technical leadership for complex SAP projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to gather requirements and develop innovative SAP solutions.
Perform code reviews, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting in SAP BTP and S/4HANA environments.
Ensure security, scalability, and compliance of SAP cloud applications.
Required Skills & Experience:
15 years of SAP technical experience, with a focus on SAP BTP development and integration.
Expertise in SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP Fiori/UI5, CAP/RAP, and SAP HANA.
Strong experience in ABAP (including RAP & CAP), JavaScript, Node.js, and Cloud Foundry.
Hands-on experience with API Management, Event Mesh, Workflow Management, and Kyma.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration with SAP & non-SAP systems.
Familiarity with SAP DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a hybrid model.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI/ML in SAP BTP.
SAP certification in SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or SAP Fiori.
Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
