Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

• This position involves the maintenance and operation of conveyor, screening and crushing equipment, and the operation of heavy equipment, for the purpose of crushing, moving and loading aggregate materials.

Requirements

• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear

• Checking material being loaded for quality

• Load haul trucks, load customer trucks, feed portable plant, stockpile and load bins

• Operate haul truck and water truck

• Knowledge of mining equipment and their uses

• Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications

• Perform work associated with maintenance and loader operation to the highest safety standards.

• Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.

• Work will be performed per the supervisor's instruction, and in some cases, will be expected to be performed free from direct supervision without a compromise or sacrifice to safety, and without sacrifice to, quality of work tasks
