Job Description
- This position involves the maintenance and operation of conveyor, screening and crushing equipment, and the operation of heavy equipment; including but not limited to articulated trucks, excavators, dozers and loaders, for the purpose of crushing, moving and loading aggregate materials.
Requirements
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear
- Checking material being loaded for quality
- Load haul trucks, load customer trucks, feed portable plant, stockpile and load bins
- Operate haul truck and water truck
- Knowledge of mining equipment and their uses
- Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications
- Perform work associated with maintenance and loader operation to the highest safety standards.
- Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Work will be performed per the supervisor's instruction, and in some cases, will be expected to be performed free from direct supervision without a compromise or sacrifice to safety, and without sacrifice to, quality of work tasks
