Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of meals and ensure that our kitchen operates smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong understanding of kitchen operations, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment. This position is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our food preparation processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
• Follow recipes and instructions from chefs to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Support cooks by performing tasks such as cooking simple dishes or preparing garnishes.
• Buss tables and assist with serving food as needed during busy periods.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or a culinary role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools used in food service operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals is essential for success in this role.
