We are looking for a Benefits Manager to join our team! Ideal candidate will have experience navigating benefits within a large organization and demonstrate strong vendor management skills.
Must be in the greater St. Louis area.

Supports the delivery and administration of BJC's comprehensive health & welfare and other general benefits programs to ensure that BJC retains its competitive status in the marketplace.

Role Purpose

This position manages the planning, administration, implementation and communication of company-wide health and welfare, retirement and well-being employee benefit programs. The role manages the Benefits Team.


Responsibilities

  • Leads benefit related programs and projects including Wellness, Annual Enrollment, etc.
  • Partners with HR Operations in development of processes and support materials to continuously improve the employee experience.
  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Evaluates existing benefits and proposes new programs through information obtained by research, market trends and employee feedback. Consults and collaborates with leadership to identify benefit strategies that support business needs.
  • Manages and administers existing benefits programs. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Business/HR/related

Experience

  • 5-10 years

Supervisor Experience

  • 2-5 years

Preferred Requirements
