We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a hospitality environment. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and pristine atmosphere for our guests, ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and well-presented.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas according to established standards.
- Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all linens and towels are clean and properly stocked in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hospitality industry guidelines.
- Assist with floor care duties including stripping, waxing, and buffing as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of hospitality practices and customer service principles is beneficial.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
