What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Project Manager position at BJU Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY: Further the objectives of the University by managing integrated marketing projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and execute project plans for marketing campaigns and events.
- Work with members of the Marketing director to secure and allocate the necessary resources for cross-department projects (design, writing, photo, video).
- Determine with team members a project's metrics of success; provide a report on the project based upon those metrics.
- Provide to the Director and Chief Enrollment Officer leadership frequent reports on in-progress projects and alert team members to upcoming recurring projects.
- Oversee incoming project flow
- Oversee the progress of all projects through the division
- Oversee some advertising buying and management
- Identify problem points in projects and work with director, staff and clients to find solutions
- Secure printing cost estimates and communicate with printing vendors throughout projects
- Manage Marketing files, including project history, and digital files
- Manage all client communication
- Inventory and order department supplies
- Serve as administrative assistant and office manager for Marketing
- Assist the director and managers in implementing productivity initiatives
- Execute projects at the request of the Chief Enrollment Officer and/or the executive office
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong initiative
- Good written, oral and verbal communication skills
- Experience and training in project management, including team building
- Ability to work well with others
- Marketing background preferred
