What are the responsibilities and job description for the School of Business Recruitment Specialist (GA) position at BJU, Inc.?
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Dean with establishing and maintaining relationships with community organizations and businesses that offer opportunities for referrals/recruitment and/or works with other campus representatives to facilitate referrals/recruitment
- Develop strong relationships with School of Business academic programs and faculty in order to advise prospective students on the various degree programs, admission requirements, and application processes
- Collaborate with the Provost’s office to identify, plan, and implement a cyclical schedule of recruitment activities
- Have monthly update meetings with Enrollment and Marketing, Dean of the School of Business, and Division chairs to report and give feedback
- Work closely with the Admissions Department to update network and database of potential candidates for future consideration, including pipeline of passive candidates
- Collaborate with BJU Marketing and Communication team to develop electronic and print communications for prospective students
- Partner with Enrollment Management and Student Success to ensure the School of Business recruitment plan and strategies align with the University’s activities
- Participate in training for Travel Representatives
- Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the School of Business
- Attend chapel and special events to maintain understanding of the school atmosphere
- Communicate the religious beliefs of BJU to students and student affiliates
- Answers questions concerning faith, doctrine and creed of BJU to constituents, students, or those inquiring about BJU
