What are the responsibilities and job description for the Museum & Gallery Summer Educator position at BJU Press?
The Summer Educator helps develop and plan the educational programs for the upcoming year as well as assist with the summer educational activities. Depending on personal availability and the projects at hand, this will be a seasonal temporary position.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching in M&G's Kids Create! summer program
- Researching educational programs
- Assisting educational staff with projects
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be able to interact with children
- Must be familiar with educational directives
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
