Traffic Controller

We currently have immediate openings for Traffic Control Flaggers in Texas.

Duties

• Direct traffic flow at job sites, ensuring the safety of the crew and the public.
• Drive the company vehicles and TMA/Crash Cushion to and from job sites in a safe manner.
• Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers according to ATSSA and TxDOT regulations for shoulder/lane closures.
• Monitor site conditions and communicate any hazards to crew members.
• Collaborate with heavy equipment operators to facilitate safe movement of machinery.
• Maintain clear communication with crew members regarding site operations and safety measures.
• Working outside (In all types of weather).
• Have the ability to lift and carry objects weighing greater than 40 pounds.
• Load and unload work zone equipment and materials to and from the company vehicle.
• Wear and maintain proper PPE.
• Perform any other general duties as specified.

Skills

• Proficient in the operation of heavy equipment including backhoes, trucks with trailer, TMA, bulldozers, loaders, front loader trucks, and other related equipment.
• Excellent observational skills to identify potential hazards at job location.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Must have 2 years of experience with all responsibilities listed above.
• Must be able to work out of town and stay out of town.

Job Type: Full-time
